McKernan

Belgravia and McKernan are two adjacent mature Edmonton neighbourhoods immediately south of the University of Alberta's North Campus, meeting at 76 Avenue and the Capital Line.

University Heights stands on 80 Avenue west of 114 Street, inside McKernan rather than Belgravia: the boundary between the two jogs west of 114 Street north of 76 Avenue. The address is four avenue blocks north of the McKernan/Belgravia LRT station and three south of Health Sciences/Jubilee at 114 Street and 83 Avenue. McKernan is a grid-pattern neighbourhood where renter households slightly outnumber owners, and 545 of its 2,580 residents were aged 20 to 24 in 2021.

Health Sciences/Jubilee station, 114 Street and 83 Avenue, is linked by an enclosed pedway opened in June 2013 to the Edmonton Clinic Health Academy, the Kaye Edmonton Clinic and the University of Alberta Hospital.
McKernan/Belgravia station, four avenue blocks south at 76 Avenue, is served by the Capital Line only; the Metro Line's southern terminus is one stop north at Health Sciences/Jubilee.
