The View is a 23-storey tower that merges urban-contemporary design with one of Edmonton's most coveted mature park communities. We designed the architecture to complement the quiet streets around it, a seamless transition that extends from indoors out, with schools, transit, retail, entertainment, and the River Valley all close by.

Designed by Chris Dikeakos Architects and approved by Edmonton City Council in 2018, the 179-suite, 171,000 sqft tower at 9922 111 Street is the first phase of a two-tower plan, with a second 29-storey building to follow on an adjacent parcel. We made room for real families here: three- and four-bedroom homes sit alongside the one- and two-bedroom suites, all with floor-to-ceiling glazing aimed at the river valley, the downtown core, and Government House Park.

One block from Government Centre LRT station, two blocks from the Alberta Legislature grounds, and a short walk from the river valley rim at Constable Ezio Faraone Park, The View put residents inside one of Edmonton's most walkable established communities. The building is sold out, and we think the neighbourhood is better for it.

Wîhkwêntôwin

Wîhkwêntôwin is the City of Edmonton neighbourhood immediately west of downtown, bounded by 110 Street, 105 Avenue, 124 Street and the North Saskatchewan River valley, and officially renamed from Oliver effective January 1, 2025.

The View stands at 9922 111 Street, on the block between 99 and 100 Avenue. Government Centre station is one block east, underground beneath 110 Street between 98 and 99 Avenue, served by the Capital and Metro Lines. The Alberta Legislature grounds start two blocks east, where 109 Street forms their western boundary. Jasper Avenue, the main commercial street, is two blocks north. Constable Ezio Faraone Park sits above the river valley a block east and two blocks south, at 11004 97 Avenue.

  • Government Centre station is one block east, underground beneath 110 Street between 98 and 99 Avenue, on the Capital and Metro Lines.
  • The Alberta Legislature grounds, more than 57 acres across four city blocks, are bounded on the west by 109 Street, two blocks east.
  • Holy Child Catholic Elementary, 9844 110 Street, is about two blocks away and offers French Immersion and Spanish Bilingual programming.
  • Constable Ezio Faraone Park, 11004 97 Avenue, sits on the north bank where river valley bike paths and walkways meet.
  • Jasper Avenue, the neighbourhood's main commercial street, is two blocks north.
