Wîhkwêntôwin

Both buildings stand on the south side of 105 Avenue, formally also known as Columbia Avenue, in Wîhkwêntôwin, the central Edmonton neighbourhood that begins directly south of that avenue and faces Queen Mary Park across it.

Park Ave fronts 105 Avenue between 112 and 113 Street. The City built a public plaza on this block, laid out with concrete picnic tables, feature walls, grass, planting beds, bike racks and pedestrian lighting. One block south, 112 Street marks the western limit of MacEwan University's City Centre Campus, which runs seven blocks east along 104 Avenue to 105 Street, its buildings joined by a second-floor pedway. Rogers Place, at 10220 104 Avenue NW, is about ten blocks east.

A Valley Line West stop, MacEwan Arts/112 Street, is under construction one block south at 112 Street and 104 Avenue. The City anticipates construction complete in 2028, followed by testing and commissioning before the line opens.
MacEwan station on the Metro Line, on 105 Avenue between 103 and 104 Street, is roughly eight to nine blocks east along the same avenue. Trains run every 12 minutes at peak and every 15 minutes midday, evenings and weekends.
104 Avenue, one block south, is an active LRT construction corridor and carries roughly 55,000 vehicles a day by the Unity Square landlord's estimate.
The parcel across 105 Avenue, between 112 and 113 Street, is ATCO property zoned Public Utility. The City's plaza drawing marks it future development unknown.
The Royal Alexandra Hospital, 10240 Kingsway NW, is roughly 1.5 to 2 km northeast and runs a 24-hour emergency department.
