Bridgeland-Riverside

Bridgeland-Riverside is an inner-city Calgary community on the north bank of the Bow River, one CTrain stop northeast of downtown.

One Riverpark stands at 628 1 Avenue NE, on the opposite bank of the Bow River from downtown. Reconciliation Bridge, which opened in 1910 and was renamed by city council in 2017, connects the community to downtown. The George C. King Bridge carries people walking and cycling to St. Patrick's Island Park and on into East Village. Tom Campbell's Hill, an 18 hectare City park at 25 St. George's Drive NE, looks over the Bow, Nose Creek and the downtown skyline.

Bridgeland/Memorial station, at 1010 Memorial Drive NE, is the first CTrain stop northeast of downtown on the Blue Line, with weekday trains every five minutes from 7 to 9 a.m., the first at 4:00 a.m. and the last at 1:02 a.m.
Bow Valley College, at 345 6 Avenue SE, sits at the next station west, a scheduled weekday ride of about five minutes.
St. Patrick's Island Park, 31 acres in the Bow River, reopened on 31 July 2015 after a $20 million park improvement programme.
The Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo, on St. George's Island within the community, reported 1.54 million visitors in 2023 and describes itself as Canada's most visited zoo.
1 Avenue NE is in the final season of the City's Main Street rebuild, with the north side between 4 and 6A Street NE estimated to finish by the end of summer 2026.
